3. PARTNERS AND SUPPORTERS

The project “ARCHIBAB: Babylonian Archives (20th-17th centuries B.C.)” was established in January 2008 thanks to funding provided by the ANR (French National Research Agency) under the tender “corpus and research tools in social sciences and in the humanities” and renewed for four years from January 2011 under the “programme blanc 2010.” The project is directed by Dominique Charpin, Professor at Collège de France (Chair “Civilisation mésopotamienne”). The project figures into the activities of UMR 7192 of the CNRS (Near East, Caucasus: languages, archaeology and civilizations; dir. Thomas Römer), a partner of the ANR within the context of its current financial support. École pratique des Hautes Études (President Hubert Bost) acts as supervisory administrator; the premises are provided by Collège de France (Institute of the ancient Near East; dir. Thomas Römer).

The data made available on this site may be saved, reproduced, and used in the context of private work or of activities of a scientific or pedagogical nature, provided that the integrity of the site be maintained (neither modification nor alteration of any kind) and that the origin and, where appropriate, the author be clearly indicated. The data in the table BIBLIOGRAPHY was compiled by Dominique Charpin and Antoine Jacquet. As for the records in the table TEXTES, the authors intend that the work of each be individually recognized and ARCHIBAB provides, for this purpose, a historical rubric for each record mentioning the author, date, and nature of each contribution. The user agrees to mention any citation of data extracted from the database. It is prohibited, unless expressly authorized by the publication manager, to use this data in order to create or enhance databases (available online or not) or websites. Any use or exploitation for commercial or promotional purposes is prohibited. The implementation of hypertext links from a third party site to ARCHIBAB is permitted provided that the links are not contrary to the forgoing provisions, the copyright law, or the interests of ARCHIBAB and guarantee the possibility for the user to identify the origin and, where appropriate, the author.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY CLAUSE

The authors cannot, however, guarantee that all information is current at all times, complete, accurate, and free of error.
